risk due to life style related behaviour, social insecurity and
social injustice. Global trends in child and youth life styles will
be examined. Four main sub-topics have been identified and will be
addressed by invited, leading researchers in their fields:
Theoretical clarification and
implications of the concepts lifestyle and risk behaviour
Substance use and tobacco
Sexuality and HIV/AIDS

An overall aim is to identify
“best practices” when it comes to promoting healthy life styles for
children and young people.
The group will solicit results
from a wide range of countries to be presented at the conference,
and abstracts submitted for paper and poster presentations at the
thematic sessions are highly encouraged.
